A look back at the inauguration of scientific facilities of the France 2030 “DurabilitHy” project, held on June 29, 2026, at FCLAB in Belfort.
The welcome session and project presentation took place at the IUT Nord Franche-Comté, followed by a tour of the FCLAB 2 platform in Belfort, which fostered productive discussions among the participants.
Led by Toulouse University and managed by the French National Research Agency (ANR), this highly competitive project brings together several major academic partners, including the UMLP Université Marie et Louis Pasteur.
Regarding the Belfort-based component, the project received €4.5 million in funding. This investment has enabled the continued rollout of fuel cell testing capabilities and the launch of electrolyzer equipment, reinforcing the Hydrogen-Energy platform’s central role at the national level and its world-class performance.
This major initiative supports the developments required for the anticipated scaling up of hydrogen technologies and their role in France’s decarbonization—benefiting both local companies and the broader national and European industry sectors.
